What are Truck Block Restraints (TBRs)?
WHAT’S THE NEED?
Far too often truck drivers accidentally back up too far in their parking spaces, thus running over the already installed truck blocks. This leads to damage to those installed truck blocks, as well as the structures behind the truck blocks, such as fences and barriers. The customer then has to consistently replace their truck blocks every time this occurs, leading to a hefty financial burden. To mitigate the constant replacement of truck blocks, we have created the Truck Block Restraint (TBR). Our TBRs are custom sized to ensure the perfect fit around each parking block. They are then bolted down into the ground around the truck blocks to keep them secure if (and when) a truck driver backs into them.
THOROUGHLY TESTED
The TBR is designed to keep any parking block in place, prevent damage to the parking block, and reduce the chances of the parking block becoming dislodged. The TBR has been tested to last at least 10,000 cycles. This testing was conducted IAW SAE methods to determine the brittle fracture of metals.
TOUGH, LONG-LASTING MATERIALS
The TBR is constructed from ½” A-36 mild steel and anchored with ¾” high tensile strength anchors set at 18 inches in the ground with epoxy. The TBR is designed to work in temperatures above -40F/-40C.

Services We Provide:
TBRs WITHOUT Installation
We can sell our TBRs without installation, however, the customer is responsible for their own installation and no warranty is provided when installation is done by the customer. With this option, customers will provide us with their truck block measurements for us to manufacture TBRs that will fit the given measurements.
TBRs WITH Installation
We will provide the TBRs with installation by our experienced and knowledgeable technicians, and a warranty will be provided. With this option and at the request of the customer, we will send one of our technicians out to the site to take the truck block measurements to ensure a perfect fit.
Truck Block Installation
If the customer does not already have truck blocks installed, we can purchase and install those.
Barrier and Fence Removal
If the customer is currently using barriers and/ or fences for the boundary of their parking spaces, we can have those removed from the site to make room for the truck blocks and TBRs.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I request the color of the TBRs?
Yes. Additionally, every TBR has a reflective sticker so they are more visible.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. This will be provided once there is an inquiry submitted for the TBRs.
Do these really work?
YES! Every customer we have served has provided positive feedback and has requested even more TBRs be installed than originally requested.
Are the TBRs sold in sets or individually?
The TBRs are sold in sets of two, as each truck block requires two TBRs to work properly.
Is there a minimum or maximum order quantity?
No. You can purchase as few or as many as you’d like. Most of our customers will purchase a few sets just to trial them, and once they see how well they work they order more to have every truck block in their truck yard secured with our TBRs.
